Exports grew by 15% in the port of Barcelona |  12/29/2011

As per digital newspaper article of “Diario del Puerto.com” (attached), the exports remain as the driving force of growth of traffic in the port of Barcelona this year 2011.

In the first 11 months of 2011 the export trade in container cargo has grown 15% versus 7% increase recorded in total container traffic.

From January to November of 2011 the container traffic at the port of Barcelona has been 1.89 million TEUs. Exports increased by 15% and imports grew by 2% over the same period last year.
