Spanish ports moved nearly 3 million containers |  5/17/2011

According to the online newspaper ElVigía.com attached, the Spanish ports moved nearly three million of containers in the first quarter of 2011, a 3.8% more than the same period of 2010.

As in the case of general cargo, the ports of Valencia, the Bay of Algeciras, Barcelona, Las Palmas and Bilbao concentrated almost 90% of the total of containers of all Spanish ports. In total, these five major ports recorded nearly 2.6 million TEUs between January and March 2011
